I initially joined as a Digital Marketing Executive and was able to strengthen my knowledge across multiple marketing channels. After training in website SEO audits, I found my niche in technical SEO and progressed to Senior Technical SEO Executive – a highly detail-orientated role where I was able to further develop my skills and master key tasks such as coding, 301 redirection, website migrations and more. I later took on more responsibility, becoming Technical SEO Manager, managing clients and overseeing the team’s work. Having developed strong organisational and project management skills, I now head up our Digital Delivery team to ensure the highest of standards across SEO, Social Media, PPC and more. Cheryl and Nick have been really great mentors and have taught me a lot about business. Wagada really encourage the team to constantly develop their skills to make sure that they’re at the top of their game.

I love my job because…

Since moving to Hertfordshire from North Yorkshire and graduating from Herts Uni with a first-class degree in English Language, I had decided that a career in digital marketing was something that I wanted to pursue. A role came up at Wagada and seemed like the perfect fit.

As the digital marketing landscape is evolving every day, there’s so much to learn! The future

The fast-paced nature of the digital marketing sector and the variety of career opportunities within the industry continue to really appeal to me.
