Social Media Marketer
I love being part of the Wagada team. I feel supported by every member of the team both in day-to-day work and in my career progression. We are all passionate about working together to achieve the best results for our clients, but also know how to have a good time together outside of work.
I came to Wagada as a Social Media Marketing Assistant shortly after completing my History and Philosophy degree, which I felt could be applied to the role. Training at Wagada is extensive. We have weekly internal training sessions and are constantly sharing knowledge with each other. We are also encouraged to do online courses, and to suggest those we feel will benefit us. For me that was Facebook Ads and how to write jokes that sell on social media! I came to Wagada because they are experts in their field and I knew I could develop my skills and grow in my role. I quickly progressed to Social Media Marketer and, as part of the additional responsibility I now hold, I train clients in various aspects of social media.
My favourite thing about working at Wagada is the people and the culture. Working in a positive environment surrounded by people you get on with is so important, both for the quality of your work but also your overall happiness. Wagada ensure we organise frequent nights out, giving us a chance to bond as a team outside of work.
I was attracted to digital marketing because you get the opportunity to be creative. It is a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, so new and fresh ideas are always welcome and encouraged. Not only do I have fun creating content, but I also enjoy being able to help clients showcase their personalities through their social media and help them grow as a brand.
I am very happy at Wagada and look forward to what the future holds. I hope to continue helping clients to achieve their goals and increase their presence online. I look forward to seeing how the social media landscape develops and what we can do with it.
