Training
I studied Engineering, a bit of jump to Marketing, but I feel the logical, data-driven topics support me in the role. Starting in SEO, I have also worked with PPC, tracking setups, website development and graphics creation. I now work primarily with HubSpot, onboarding clients from various other CRMs. Wagada are always open to providing training courses. This gives you the skills and confidence to really drive success. In addition, Wagada managers and team members deliver broader training principles, helping with everything from self-management to learning the new Google tracking setups.
I love my job because…
I think my favourite aspect of Wagada is the culture of trust and honesty that drives each interaction. Every team member can be open about failures knowing that the focus will be on development rather than blame. The team are always supportive of each other, leaving egos at the door and never trying to “get one up” for personal benefit. This means everyone is able to relax and simply have fun whilst working and engaging in team projects and social activities.
Digital marketing covers a very broad spectrum of topics, skillsets and industries. This variety allows your working career to take on many new forms, never becoming stagnant and boring.
The future
The immediate future will likely see the consolidation of skills and processes to help fine-tune the way we progress and develop our clients’ marketing universe. It has been a pleasure to watch Wagada grow over the past four years and very exciting to think what the company will achieve over the coming years!
